Gordon is also an ordained minister in the Episcopal Church (Vocational Deacon). "As I tell the people I work with; I am obviously connected with the Church and sometimes wear a 'funny collar'. Nonetheless, I make it a point to NOT push any sort of religious agenda, unless those are issues that the client(s) want to address in therapy; one's spiritual life is a very personal thing. I do believe, however, that a person's spiritual life can be a path for healing; I also believe there are many different paths for seeking a spiritual life..." |
